CP Malaysia, shrimp processing plant in Port Klang started operations in mid-year 2004. We are an HACCP certified shrimp processing plant and currently our main export market is to the USA, E.U. and Japan.
Our processing plant covers a total production area of 2,100 m2 comprising the conventional (raw) products and cooked products section.
The main raw material produced in our plant is the white vannamei shrimp (penaeus vannamei) which is mainly processed into HOSO (Head OnShell On), HLSO (HeadlessShell On), HL EZ Peel (Headless Easy Peeled), Peeled and CTO (Cooked Peeled Deveined Tail On).
We are currently running at an average capacity of 15 metric tons/day utilizing most of the technologically advanced automations available in this industry, this includes the nitrogen tunnel freezer, contact freezer, peeling and grading machineand steam cooking machine.
We are also equipped with our own water chiller system, ice plant as well as an enclosed loading bay for container stuffing. Our QC laboratory in the plant is well equipped with many sophisticated equipments such as the HPLC system and ELIZAtest kits. This enable us to conduct our own bacteriological, antibiotics and chemical analysis right here in the plant itself.
Currently, we have five processing plants which are located at KotaKinabalu (Sabah), Tawau (Sabah), Semporna Sabah, Kuching (Serawak),and Masai (Johor),
